Some people are not sure if a stun gun is fatal or not. And it’s the reason they don’t know if a stun gun is right for them or not.

Stun guns will not permanently injure or kill anyone. High current as high as one amp will kill a person. Most stun guns deliver only 3 milliamps. That is far below the amperage that could do any lasting damage to an individual.

When stun guns are used, the electrodes have to be touching the assailant. They are very effective in disabling a person and temporarily paralyzing them. You cannot kill someone when you use a stun gun on them. Also, the voltage going into the attackers body will not pass back to you even if you are touching the attacker.
